British or English style suit will have two or three button jackets with notched lapels. Double side vents, slant besom ticket flap pocket above the right side slant besom regular flap pocket with an interior change pocket. 1-1/2" cuff with single pleated or plain faced trousers.
Of course, another
English classic suit style is the 4/6 button double breasted jacket with peaked lapels. The jacket would also have double side vents, ticket flap pocket above the right side regular flap pocket with an interior change pocket. 1-1/2" cuff with double pleated trousers.
Traditional or Updated Traditional style suit usually has two or three button jackets with notched lapels. The jacket also will have an center rear vent and regular besom flap pocket. 1-1/2" cuff with pleated or plain faced trousers.
Italian style suits are mostly 2 button jackets, with either peaked or notched lapels. Lower side piped pockets with no rear vent. Pleated and Plain face trousers with and with out cuffs.
( This particular style of suit has been coming back strongly, this last year, from many suit designers. We also feel this is always a classic style, no matter when! We would also recommend a rear center vent, but double side vents would be a great detail! )
Contemporary style suits also are mostly one button or two button jacket with either an notched or peaked lapels. No rear vents. Plain faced trousers with no cuffs.
So with this been said, we
design our suits each differently to suit our clients
tastes and desires. Each of our suits are all hand cut
and stitch. The edges of the jacket are always hand
pique stitches.

We
offer fabric and color coordination, for Made to Measure Suits,
Custom Dress Shirts to our clients!
Many of
our clients like a particular fabric and wonder what would be a
recommended suit / shirt / tie combination.
For an example,
one of our clients recently wanted to have a classic made to measure British Tan suit. So, we arrange images of recommended shirting fabric and ties
based upon his taste. The selected result is the image shown
above. (Click on image for an enlarged view)
Our client's
final selection was the classic combination of Royal French Blue
Oxford shirting fabric, British Tan Super 150's suiting material,
that was designed and created into a traditional 2 button suit style
with double side vents. The Red Floral Deco Motif Pattern necktie was a great accent to bring the selected
fabric colors together!
